We are a Guest Farm in the Karoo, come and experience how friendly and fun real farm living can be. Come and visit us at our beautiful farm in the Steytlerville district and experience true Karoo hospitality! We offer game drives, hunting trips, horse riding, walking and mountain biking trails in some of the most spectacularly scenic areas of our country. Our facilities include beautifully restored freestanding cottages with old wooden floors and ceilings. Lian and Karen Erasmus welcomes you to their magical farm situated in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The farm has been in the family for almost a hundred years! We use only the best Family Recipes passed down and bettered from generation to generation. We produce our own Organic Game biltong and droëwors. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and any other special diets. Game drives, Mule wagon rides, 4 x 4 Trails (your own vehicle or quad bike) Mountain biking, Star Gazing, Bird Watching, Horse Riding, Bushman Rock Art, Mountain Climbing, Hunting (malaria free area), Pony Rides for the kiddies and they can feed and touch the animals. Guests can also take part in the life of the working farm. Hunting in the mountainous areas of the Karoo is a very different experience to hunting anywhere else in the world! We allow a small amount of hunting to be done annually to avoid over population and damage to our fragile Karoo eco system. For the faint of heart there are easy rides, but for the fit and daring there are some hair-raising, but beautiful, mountain trails. The Accommodation and Food were fantastic, along with the silence and the stars!
